The 22nd General Election of MYSverse, known as PRU-22 in Malay and GE22 in English, is set to take place following the dissolution of the previous 21st MYSverse Parliament on 9th November 2024, as sanctioned by the Chief Monarch of MYSverse, Tuanku Hazifnazmi, under the leadership of YAB Prime Minister BernardGTempler. This election aims to fill 30 seats in the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of the legislature, through participation from various political parties and coalitions, as the nation prepares for a significant democratic exercise to determine its representation in government.

Electoral system

The system adopted by MYSverse in elections is noticeably different from real-life. Voters in Roblox do not vote for local state legislatures. Thus, the ballot used by voters to cast their vote only directly impacts legislation on the federal level, therefore electing representatives in Dewan Rakyat.

The Dewan Rakyat, after the Third Amendment to the Federal Constitution (Act 90) which passed the house on May 7 2021[citation needed], increased the seats in Dewan Rakyat from 26 previously to 30. The majority required to control the confidence of the house also changed from 14 to 16.

The entire electoral process and the distribution of seats to running parties is to be overseen by the Election Commission of Malaysia (EC, or more commonly referred as SPR) which is managed by the Administration.
