yaoshiiscool (officially known as Samuel Yao Lee Ming or simply Yao or Yao Shi) is a Malaysian politician who served as the 31st Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Deputy President of the Senate in the 22nd Parliament of Malaysia and a senator in the 20th Parliament of Malaysia. He is the former Chairman of Parti Demokratik Malaysia during his tenure as the Prime Minister and was formerly the 2nd Mayor of Kuala Lumpur.
Prior to his involvement in MYSVerse politics, Yao was heavily involved within law enforcement in MYSVerse, serving as an Assistant Commissioner of the Royal Malaysia Police, the first Superintendent of the MyTransit Auxiliary Police[citation needed] and Chairman of the Commonwealth Police Force Association before becoming the Minister of Home Affairs.
Yao was the last Director of BERITA before its retirement, previously being the Head of Publishing. Yao was the former owner of The Tomato, a satirical newspaper and media channel. Outside of the media sector, Yao is currently an Operations Manager for Fetch and the President of Arkib Negara MYSVerse.
Yaoshiiscool is a key figure in the 2022 Malaysian Political Crisis, with him taking the de facto position of Leader of the Opposition and the leader of the Parti Demokratik Malaysia during the bIuvye government and the subsequent 17th General Elections. He is also an independent advocate and solicitor in the Malaysian bar, being involved as counsel in notable judicial reviews and a civil case such as KyotoVonWolffe & Anor v RMAF, BRM v PPR MYSVerse and SSM v gabrieltan88888.
Initial Joining
Singapore
Before immigrating to Malaysia (MYSVerse), yaoshiiscool was employed as a police officer in the Singapore Police Force ROBLOX by Danial_Razali, eventually promoted to the rank of Probationary Inspector and put in charge as the Commanding Officer of the Community Policing Unit before being dismissed on the 24th of July 2020 after joining the Royal Malaysia Police.[1]

On the 12th March 2020, Yaoshiiscool was accepted into the West Malay Police Contingent of the Royal Malaysia Police as a probationary police inspector[2], allegedly being the first direct-entry police inspector under this scheme.
Upon graduation from the Royal Malaysia Police College in Kuala Lumpur (PULAPOL), Yaoshiiscool served as a patrol team leader (PTL) in the Public Security Unit (now District Police) until his secondment to the MyTransit Auxiliary Police[citation needed].
Around early November 2020, Yaoshiiscool was given the secondary role of Head of Public Relations in the Royal Malaysia Police. Yaoshiiscool [citation needed].
MyTransit Auxiliary Police Secondment
On 28 May 2020, Yaoshiiscool was seconded from the Royal Malaysian Police to the MyTransit Auxiliary Police from 1 June 2020 to 30 November 2020 to assist in the creation of the MyTransit Auxiliary Police, and to manage operations of the MyTransit Auxiliary Police[3].
Yaoshiiscool's secondment to the MyTransit Auxiliary Police was extended to an unconfirmed date to oversee operations of the MyTransit Auxiliary Police until the role of the MyTransit Auxiliary Police Superintendent was handed to OculusZen. Thereafter, Yaoshiiscool's secondment ended and he was transferred back to the Royal Malaysian Police[citation needed].
Commonwealth Police Force Association
Yao became the Chairman of the Commonwealth Police Force Association on the 17th of April, 2022[4].
On the 12th of September, 2022, Yao was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire for his contributions to the Commonwealth Police Force Association as the Chairman[5].

On the (DATE), Yaoshiiscool was appointed as the Senator (Federal Territories) by His Majesty the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong.
